Turbat University Hosts Lecture Session on Social Determinants of Health

The Department of Sociology, University of Turbat (UoT), organized a lecture session on "Social Determinants of Health" on February 20, 2026. The guest speaker, Dr. Sagheer Uddin, Assistant Professor at Makran Medical College, discussed various dimensions of health, including food, eating behavior, and diet. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the broader social factors that influence health outcomes.
During the lecture, Dr. Sagheer Uddin elaborated on the multiple dimensions of health, highlighting the relationship between social conditions and overall well-being.
