UoT Students Participate in Capacity Building and Exposure Program

Students of the University of Turbat (UoT) participated in a seven-day Capacity Building and Exposure Program organized by the Government of Balochistan’s Youth Affairs Department. As part of the program, they visited Islamabad, Lahore, and Sialkot from May 18 to 24, 2026.

The initiative aimed to provide the youth of Balochistan with academic, cultural, and industrial exposure to broaden their perspectives and contribute to their personal and professional development.
During the visit, the students toured several universities, research centers, historical sites, leading manufacturing units, and textile mills. According to the University's spokesperson, the Vice Chancellor of UoT, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, along with the participating students, expressed their sincere gratitude to the Government of Balochistan’s Youth Affairs Department for organizing this valuable program.

They also highlighted the importance of continuing such capacity-building and exposure programs on an annual basis to support the development and empowerment of the youth of Balochistan.
The Vice Chancellor stated that the University of Turbat is implementing a comprehensive plan to further strengthen and empower its Directorate of Student Affairs to organize and promote a wider range of student-centered activities aimed at nurturing and enhancing students’ digital, creative, and leadership skills.
